Week 15- Torn Alikeness

The Creature wanted a companion. Someone to accept him, to share emotions with. Frankenstein. The Creature self- taught himself to become a self- educated being through eavesdropping. He wanted to be able to feel what his "neighbors" felt. He begged Frankenstein for a companion.
Frankenstein as his creator agreed to a promise. A "pick your poison" promise which brought havoc in either choice made. Create a new series of species that bring harm or compromise the safety of Frankenstein and his loved ones.
Frankenstein pondered at the idea if a monster can love another monster or would they reject each other as well as the rest of society? Frankenstein was put into a situation where he was torn between the choices that each resulted in misery. No one could possibly win even if the creature promised safety for payment of a companion that potentially can be dangerous. Frankenstein found himself in a catch 22.
The Creature and the Creator Frankenstein become alike in their misery as each of their despair flows within them and hatred and vengeance pours from their pores. They become similar in their emotion and their motive. The Creature has no one, no one to rely on or depend on. Frankenstein loses people that are dear to him and loses everything. Both the Creature and Frankenstein are the cause of each other's misery and conflicted with the need or loss of personal connections. In the end the Creator becomes as miserable and despaired as the Creature. They are one and the same.
