Layla-
Shawn is our new recruit. Jay, Shawn, and I were close friends before our initiation. At his first training, he was shocked like he saw a ghost. Shaken up but a settled relief that I was still alive. The loss of Jay during a mission was still devastating news to him, even though he we were already supposedly dead to the real world.
Shawn is a skilled partner but he is not Jay. Jay created his own combat skills, which he would teach me; Shawn had to imitate skills to prepare for his first mission. Words of advice to Shawn- an order's, and order don't try to be a hero.
I remember the day before Jay's last mission he told me- you don't have to worry about my safety on our missions. Sometimes I wonder why he told me that before that mission? Why did he jinxed his demise? But why I still feel like he is around still looking out for me when I couldn't look out for him. Why?

Shawn trained well enough to prove he's ready for the field. Everything was a smooth mission, except for a potential threat. But this threat didn't fight back but fought other threats as we hid and watched. Was he part of the agency? This "threat's" face was covered, but his combat was familiar. Recognizable. Each move, every skill familiar. Was there hope? Was he still alive? I ran to help this "threat". The way we both fought was recognizable and in sync. The threats were easily taken down but that one "threat" disappeared.
